Internet gaming is big, big business in Asian. In China, for example, the government has placed time restrictions on how many hours a day Chinese youths can spend online at internet cafes. That hasn’t stopped a lot of young Asian males from developing internet addiction so bad that some Chinese doctors have been using electro-shock treatment to try to cure that addiction.
There are several internet gaming companies traded in the U.S. that profit from this addition: The9 Ltd, Perfect World, and Netease.
