One of the things that surprised me during my last trip to China was the large number of black Audi sedans. They were everywhere!
Audi reported today that its sales to China increased by 11% in the first six months of 2009 to 67,000 cars. Audi sold 13,265 cars in June, a new record and a 28% increase over the same period last year.
Is any car maker enjoying that type of sales growth in the U.S.? Absolutely not.
This highlights the ongoing strength in China’s domestic economy and affirms the need to get your equity dollars out of the U.S. and into U.S.
