I didn’t expect the iPhone to be a big hit Japan. Why not? The iPhone doesn’t include TV broadcast and bill payment capabilities, two of the most popular cell phone functions in Japan.
The crowds lined up to buy an iPhone in Japan tell me that I was wrong. Some Japanese newspapers have reported lines over 1 mile long!
