China $1.4 billion nuclear investment fund

Here is another non-greenhouse gas energy tidbit.

Wilson Feng, a former senior banker for Merrill Lynch, has been picked to run China’s newly established $1.46 billion nuclear investment fund.

Nuclear power has a serious role in China’s future energy plans.

To show you how important connections are in China, Feng’s father-in-law is Wu Bangguo, chairman of the National People’s Congress and is the number two in the Communist Party’s formal hierarchy.
