China inflation drops

by Tony Sagami on September 11, 2008

The Chinese rate of inflation dropped to 4.9% in August, the fourth consecutive month of slowing inflation.

China’s inflation rate has steadily slowed since February’s peak inflation reading of 8.7%.

Frankly, I am skeptical about any numbers from the Chinese government, but I do believe the trend is accurate.
