Ford, GM sell $2 billion of parts to China

by Tony Sagami on June 16, 2008

Even if you don’t own any Chinese stocks, you better make sure that your U.S. stocks have an effective strategy to tap into the huge Chinese market.

For example, Ford and GM signed a deal yesterday to sell more than $2 billion of autos, parts, and machinery to China over the next few years.

General Motors said it has sold a total of $4.2 billion worth of products to China in the last decade, so you can see there we’re talking real money here.
