McDonalds was one of the first U.S. companies to do business in China and goes to great pains to talk up its China expansion plans. Yesterday, McDonalds said it planned on opening 140 to 150 new stores in China this year.
That may sound like a lot, but it is peanuts. Only 2% of revenues came from China.
