No slowdown for Chinese steel industry

Steel is a basic economic building block so watching the steel industry will tell you a lot about a country’s economy.

According to German engineering giant Siemens AG, the Chinese steel industry is as healthy as ever. Siemens sells equipment for steel mills, power plants and factories, and has seen no slowdown in orders.

“We are running at our capacity limits at the moment in supplying China with steel plants. This is really a boom.”
