According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the urban unemployment rate in China rose for the first time in five years to 4.2% as of December 31.
At least that is what the Chinese government is willing to admit to. I suspect the numbers are even worse but what really matters is unemployment is rising in China and that is not good news for the Chinese economy.
