Chart of Silver — Zoom-Zoom!

by Sean Brodrick on January 8, 2010

If you read my column for Uncommon Wisdom on Friday, “Platinum in the Fast Lane“, you saw that I laid out the bullish case for platinum.  But another white metal was even more bullish on Friday — Silver.  Let’s go to the chart.

silver Chart of Silver -- Zoom-Zoom!

This is a classic technical set-up.  Our bullish target on silver is $26!  Wow!  if you’re playing at home with the iShares Silver Trust (SLV: 19.42 +0.14 +0.73%), then the target is 24.50.  And if you’re a Red-Hot Commodity ETFs subscriber, and you are long via the ProShares Ultra Silver (AGQ: 69.58 +1.10 +1.61%) — well, let’s keep that one between us, shall we?

Zoom-zoom!

Have a great weekend.

P.S. Remember, you should check out my book, which you can find through

Sean,
I took a leap of faith and bought Exeter Resources at $6.10 on your recommendation - It hit $8.75 Friday
I’m up more than 40% and I want to thank you guys profusely.

Is it still a HOLD at $8.75

Keep up the good work

Sean,

You may recall my comment on XRA a while back that it would go down for a few days before going up - well it did and then I bought into it - thank you Sean - shall I let you know my opinion as to when it will temporarily be topping out?
Right now it has a ways to go - thanks again. - I do enjoy and respect your commentary.

Hey Sean,

Can you please address “Uranium” in an upcoming Uncommon Wisdom video and/or column. It’s been some time since I’ve seen anything giving us any type of lowdown or direction. Something that is beyond just nuclear reactors being planned or built in the US or China. It hasn’t seem to do much for this element in the last 2 years since it’s surge. We know the future will be bright - but how long!!

Thanks,

Citidude-Chris in Chicago!!

Hi, Jim
I’m a publisher, not an investment advisor. That means I make recommendations to a bunch of people, I don’t give individual advice. It’s a fine point but I insist on the distinction.
Now, I should tell you that subscribers to my Red-Hot Global Small Caps have hit the first profit target on Exeter. What did I recommend that they do there? Where is the next profit target? These kinds of recommendations I’m afraid I must reserve for my Red-Hot Global Small-Caps subscribers.
I put my recommendations in Red-Hot Global Small-Caps. Here, on my blog, I just share some observations, which I may or may not follow up on.
If you want to subscribe to Red-Hot Global Small-Caps — and get all my small-cap and global recommendations — call 1-800-898-0819 and tell them that I want you, Jim, to have the special discount.
If not, that’s okay, too. In any case, I’m very pleased that Exeter is working out for you.
