Who’s in charge of this market? The dollar? Gold? Oil? Or maybe Ol’ Doctor Copper …
Copper is called “Doctor Copper” because it tells the health of the economy. Doctor Copper’s Rx is looking pretty good so far. We already have the iPath Copper ETF (JJC: 45.704 +0.624 +1.38%) in Red-Hot Commodity ETFs, with nice open gains.
And for contrarians (and you know who you are), Bloomberg just reported yesterday that Chinese copper EXPORTS are soaring. So what’s driving copper prices higher then? Just speculation, or something else? Will Chinese copper exports keep a lid on prices?
Stay tuned, and ho-ho-ho!

Since the video conference I am subscriber of the lifetime Uncommon Wisdom Inncer Circle. I am living in Europe, in Vienna, Austria and I am having problems finding some of the Small Cap Stocks. For instance in your RGS #271 you mention Uranex (Ticker UNX). The only stock I found is:
Uranex N Aktie [WKN: A0HFVU / ISIN: AU000000UNX6] trading at € 0.16 in Frankfurt. Is this the same stock? I do hope you see my problem and I would like to ask you to give the exact identification otherwise it will not be possible for me to identify small caps. I am sure that other subscribers outside of the USA will have similar problems.
If the USD will really freefall as Mr. Edelson predicts, why don’t you recommend to buy the stocks in Euro. If the stock rises and is sold, there is a profit in Euro. If the Euros gained are then changed into USD the investors in the USA will have an additional FOREX profit. Best regards, Josef Berger
Hi, Joseph
The Uranex I’m talking about is UNX is listed primarily on the Australian Stock Exchange (you can find it under UNX.AX on Yahoo Finance) or it has a tracking stock, URNXF, on the pink sheets in the US. Those are the two listings we follow in Red-Hot Global Small-Caps.
I’m not sure about the German listing because I don’t trade the German markets — check with your broker.
As for Larry’s views on the dollar, you’ll have to ask him.
Best wishes,
Sean
