I’m having an excellent time at the Resource Investment Conference in Toronto. I spoke to a standing-room only room yesterday, and what a great group. Such intelligent questions! The investors who come to Toronto are sharp!
I saw some other good presentations as well. Later, we went to dinner. I and a friend stopped at The Queen and Beaver Public House, which is really well done. Then we went down the street to join the rest of the conference speakers for dinner at Barberian’s Steak House, a famous eatery in Toronto. You have to see this restaurant — it is so cool. We ate in the restaurant’s 2-story wine cellar. And that place looks like this …
While there, I had the chance to have chats with some very interesting people, including David and Paul and a bunch of others. Regular attendees had chances to talk to them as well, during conference hours. That’s the great thing about these Cambridge House conferences, they’re intimate enough that you bump into a lot of people you might read a lot but not usually have the chance to chat up.
And there are a bunch of Weiss Research subscribers here as well. Big fans of Martin and Larry have come up to say hi. If I haven’t made it clear already, it is great to see all of you, and I really enjoy getting feedback.
Well, I’m on a morning eye opener panel, so I must run. Look for my video update on Tuesday — I’ll be recording it here at the conference.
